PAT testing, or Portable Appliance Testing is a means of confirming that your electrical equipment is safe. It’s not a legal requirement, however PAT testing is an ideal means of proving that your electrical equipment meets Health & Safety requirements.
Whether you are a sole trader, a landlord, a performing musician or DJ, if you use electrical equipment outwith your home you have a responsibility to make sure it is safe. Insurance companies often now insist on regular PAT Testing being carried out in order to satisfy the conditions of their policy. Local councils, hotels and pubs are routinely asking for evidence of PAT Testing if you intend to work within their premises.
WM-tech is qualified, insured, Disclosure Scotland checked and experienced at testing all manner of IT, audio-visual, photographic, video and general electrical equipment. Available to test at your home or premises, including evenings and weekends, whenever it suits you.
